Apologies after a long absence

Hi Everyone,

I have to apologize for my long blogging absence. Life has been pretty hectic, but hopefully I will be able to squeeze in some pictures from time to time. Tonight I added pictures from our recent vacation to Indiana Beach, EJ's first time bowling, and pictures of my big girl.

I can't believe we are already in the middle of July. The summer has just flown by, but we are all having a great time. For those that do not know, we still have not had any luck selling our house in Ohio. Hopefully something will happen soon, but in the meantime we are enjoying the hospitality of Paco's parents.

EJ is gearing up for the state fair and then soon after the start of preschool. I think he is excited for school, but a bit nervous at the same time. This week he is attending vacation bible school, which has been his first experience without Mom or Dad around. I think it will be a good indicator for both me and him for what to expect once school starts.

Well, I promise to be better in my posting to let you all see the cuties. Take care!

We took our two cherubs to Target last night to get some pictures of Molly at two months old. Of course, Mr. EJ just couldn't be left out so we got some of him as well. We started off with just Molly because those were the ones I really wanted and then we tried some of them together. Well, getting two kids to behave for pictures is quite the job. Molly was so so so tired by that time that she would just scream if she didn't have the paci in her mouth. It was quite comical to see us try and get these photos. We would let her have paci, position EJ and get him smiling, position her and then on three I would pull paci and move really fast out of the way of the camera. We never did get a really good one of the two of them, but got several good ones of her and a very good one of EJ. We will try for the brother/sister photos again at 4 months.

We're Here

Hello Friends,

Just wanted to write and update that we did indeed safely make it back to Springfield and are working on getting all settled in. EJ and Molly have had so much fun this weekend getting tons of extra attention from grandparents, uncles and aunts. Paco started his first day of orientation at his new work this morning and will start at his actual job in a few days. We will keep you updated on our progress.

The Little Helper

We are counting down the days to the move and EJ has been a great helper. For those that don't know, we are doing this move ourselves vs. using a moving company provided by the military. Over the last few days Paco and I have been packing away all our household goods and so far we are making some great progess. We still have a ways to go, but it will all get done! This is how EJ was "helping" earlier today.
