We have had quite the winter storm here over the past few days. Yesterday afternoon the sleet and freezing rain started and switched to snow at some point overnight. It was so bad that the base closed and Paco got the day off work--yeah! The boys got outside for some fun in the snow and Paco got to do a little shoveling as well :)

Our First Snowy Day
Today's snowstorm would not have been anything when we lived in Boston, but in Ohio it was the first measurable snow of the season. Two and a half inches of snow is a ton to a three year old that is dying to get out and play. So this afternoon we got all bundled up and headed out to make snow angels, snow balls and attempt to make a snowman. He didn't quite understand that you need a ton more sticky snow to make a snowman, but I'm sure there will be more snow in our future to hopefully make that snowman.

Ball Pit
This year Uncle Mike, Aunt Amber, Uncle Joe and Uncle Dan decided EJ needed a ball pit for Christmas. We set it up last weekend and it has been a huge hit! Thanks to all those mentioned for this super fun toy.
Bounce U
A few weekends ago we took EJ to play at Bounce U. It was the first time Paco was able to go with us and the two of them had a ton of fun. I think it was almost more fun for the big kid than the little kid.

Happy New Year!
Edited to note: For some reason the video screen is black when you load the page, but if you hit the play icon you will see a short 3 second video greeting from the little man.
Art Time
Santa brought EJ some new watercolor paints and paint dobbers in his stocking this year. EJ has been dying to try them out so yesterday we had some fun art time. He made four very beautiful pictures and was very proud of his work.
