Today is my first day alone with both kids. Surprisingly, it is going really well so far. We made it out this morning to run some errands and they both did great. Tomorrow we might actually tackle the grocery store! EJ really helped me out a lot this morning and now he is actually taking a nap, which helps me out even more. I am going to keep this brief because I need to go clean my house--we have another showing tonight (yeah!). Here are a few random pictures of the little one for your viewing pleasure.

Two weeks old
It is hard to believe, but two weeks have already flown by since Molly joined our family. We are all staying busy and getting used to our new life as a family of four. Grandma Patty has been here helping out for the past two weeks and we really don't know what we would have done without her. She had to head back to Springfield today and we will all miss her a lot. I promise to post lots of pictures to help her get her kiddo fix.
Molly is doing fantastic. She had her two week well baby exam and the doctor said she is doing great. She grew an inch in length and is back up to her birth weight. She is nursing like a champ and sleeping pretty well too. Most nights she is letting me get at least three or four straight hours before feeding and going back to sleep. Let's just hope that continues!
The rest of us are doing well too. EJ has been loving having Grandma here--I think his GeoTrax collection may have doubled :) He is going to have a new reality, though, come Monday when it is just Mommy and my attention will have to be split. Monday should be an interesting day for all of us. I will report back to let you all know how it went.

Molly's first bath
Molly had her first actual bath on Thursday night. Her cord had fallen off earlier that day so we thought it was the perfect opportunity to see how she would like the water. Mommy, Daddy, Grandma Patty and Grandpa Esteban were all pretty sure we were going to hear some big screams from our girl, but she surprised us all and was very mellow through the whole thing.

Need Another Molly Fix???
Here are some more pictures of Molly. These are a little bit better than the last set. We hope you enjoy them.
IT'S A GIRL!!!!!
Molly Helen Sanchez was born at 4:53 PM on Friday, 10 April 2009. She weighs 7 pounds 9 ounces and is 19.1 inches long. Both baby and mom are doing wonderful. Look for more pictures in the next day or so. We want to thank everyone for all your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. It is wonderful to know that there are so many friends and family out there thinking about us.

The countdown has begun...24 hours to go!
Hello Friends,
I am writing this post with about 24 hours remaining until we are supposed to be at the hospital to start the induction (8pm ET). It is both exciting and totally nerve wracking to think that in a few short hours we will be meeting our new little boy or girl. Paco will try to get pictures up ASAP, but with no internet access in the hospital it might be late Saturday or early Sunday before we can get any pictures up. We will at least try to put up a quick post to announce baby's gender, name and stats at the first available time. Thanks to all of you that have sent us such heartfelt wishes and prayers for a safe and healthy delivery...that really means so very much to both of us. Now I am off to enjoy one of the last restful evenings I will have for a while!

A Beautiful Day to Fly a Kite
Yesterday was a beautiful Saturday in the Dayton area and happened to be our last Saturday as a family of three! We wanted to take advantage of the lovely weather and head outdoors. Paco and EJ had picked out a great kite from Toys R Us the previous weekend and this seemed like the perfect day to try it out. EJ was actually able to fly the kite by himself once Daddy helped him get it airborne. Here are a few pictures from the day.
